First Time Crossing Fish

Today

Oh No! 

Suppose to say yesterday (24-01-2011)

Is my first time preparing the tank for fish crossing

Everything look like simple

But when you really work on it

Just realize that is not that easy actually

Firstly have to prepare the tank

The water are taken from the big aquarium

How to take the water from aquarium?

I saw my junior done it so easy

Just pump the water from the tank

But when I try myself

Don't know why the water cannot pump out

After few times trying

Just notice that the way I used the pump was wrong!

Ok...

After done pump water

Now have to catch the fish from the tank

Look like simply right?

But the fishes are so active

Especially the male one

The male zebrafish usually are more active than female 

For the purpose of trier

I had prepare three tanks of fish with a pair of fish (male and female) in every tank
Let it overnight
Tomorrow morning only take off the separator and let the fishes stay together
Waiting for the female to laid egg
and then waiting for the male to release its sperm
Then collect the eggs
The purpose of putting bubble on the down side of the tank is to prevent the eggs by eaten of the fish
